Workshops and Retreats

My presentations are designed to unify our personal and professional selves in order to fully embrace the experience of humanhood. Participants will gain an understanding of the stress and resilience of everyday life, so they can better attune to their own stress triggers and learn to respond with care, for themselves and others. My Ripples of Resilience model guides all of my presentations about self-care, resilience and well-being.
Workshop Topics
  • Inward for Impact: Learn my Ripples of Resilience model for whole self well-being and self-care.
  • Resilient Leadership: Explore the role of stress, truth and power in every day leadership and learn strategies to support your team through times of adversity.
  • Stress Wounds: Gain insights into the impact of stress and trauma on every body.
  • Cultivating Cultures of Care: Learn about what it really means to be trauma-informed and explore strategies that can move your program in the right direction.
  • Engaging a Youth-Centered Approach:  Explore how your value systems, at a personal and organization level, influence youth engagement practices. Check out my e-study with the UMN Humphrey School for more info.
Meeting and Retreat Facilitation
I partner with leaders to create dynamic experiences for their work groups. Whether you are looking for someone to facilitate a restorative self-care retreat or push people beyond their comfort zones with some creative risk-taking, I'd love to support the goals you have in mind. Here are some of the experiences I draw from to create meaningful gatherings for personal and professional growth:
  • Expressive Arts Facilitator: I have a decade of experience with intuitive painting and other expressive arts. My focus on the process helps people of all ages combat their inner critic so they can discover their inner artist.
  • Restorative Circle Keeper: I engage communities in reflective conversations that strengthen relationships and deepen empathy through the Circle process.
  • Youth Work Practice: Youth work is really human work, and I've been working with humans my whole life. My practices has helped me cultivate group engagement strategies and supports for even the most reluctant crowd.
