I believe the things that happen to us, the joys and the challenges, guide our path to a meaningful life. Our stories are the compass that directs us to the truth of our purpose. Sometimes our guidance system gets mis-calibrated by what has happened in our lives and the stories we hold about ourselves and others.
My goal is to support the unfolding of your story, the realignment of inner knowing and the igniting of your courageous heart.
Life is full of hard stuff. Building resilience allows us to create space for all that life has to offer. When our resilience is intact, it can be the gateway to living a fuller, more courageous life.
What kind of hard stuff are we talking about?
All kinds! Everyday stress and trauma are two ends of the same spectrum. There is no comparison when it comes to hard stuff. Hard is hard. Whether you are dealing with a significant work or life change, trying to keep too many balls in the air, or are simply feeling stuck and uncertain of which direction to head next, together we'll unpack your story and chart a course to your truest, bravest self.

Walking up to the edge of what you believe is possible and stepping forward is one of the most courageous decisions you could ever make.
Let resilience be your co-pilot.

My Approach
My work as a coach is oriented around transforming life's joys and challenges into purposeful action. I use a variety of tools, prompts and practices to support the unfolding of your truest, most resilient self. Embedded in our work together will be elements of the following:
Education
Understanding how our minds and bodies work and the impact of stress on our well-being is a critical part of practicing resilience. Without this deeper knowing, our bodies and minds can play tricks on us. In addition to learning about the impacts of stress, our work will be guided by my model of resilience which explores life through four lenses: self-awareness, truth, power and wisdom.
Reflective Practice
Reflection will be a critical component in everything we do. I use a variety of tools: mindfulness, spiritual exploration, writing prompts, intuitive art-making, open and honest questions, witnessing and even worksheets, to help you tap into your own wisdom. Resilience isn't something that is given, it's something that is cultivated from within through intentional reflection and committed practice.
Intersectionality and Anti-Racism
Engaging with our whole selves, requires unpacking our power and privilege - especially in a society socially constructed around race, gender and class. As part of our work together, we will explore your various identities, the ways they intersect, and their impact on your daily life and way of being.

Coaching vs Therapy: What's the difference?
From the outside, therapy and coaching can look quite similar, but they have very different purposes. While therapy is a critical response to open or festering wounds, coaching is better suited for our scars - when enough healing has happened that you can explore hurts and heartache from a place of curiosity and gratitude. Part of our discernment call will include discussion about the type of support that will best fit your current needs. Throughout my own healing journeys (yes, I've had numerous), I've engaged with many therapeutic modalities. If our work together moves into therapy territory, I will happily provide referrals to deepen your healing.
